An empowered approach to clearing and self-connection. Embodiment is the practice of getting out of the mind and into the body. So much of the time we are up in our heads thinking, reminiscing about the past or forecasting the future. We get lost for hours at a time in front of a screen and go months without checking in with our hearts. Embodiment brings us down into the body, where we can safely release old hurts, express what we have locked inside, and re-establish a trust with the body. We awaken the pieces that have been sleeping, we bring love back online, we come home to ourselves. Amy will provide an anchor, guidance, and loving witness to your journey. Anything you feel called to share in the beginning of the session will inform the theme and content. The beauty of this practice is that we don't need to process through the mind - the body holds the wisdom and knows what is ready to release. Post-session you may experience feeling a deep connection to the self, an opening of the heart, a lightness and spaciousness inside. A sense that something has shifted, or has been released. This practice reiterates our inherent worth and our deservedness to be heard, seen, and accepted, starting with ourselves. If you struggle with feeling your emotions, listening to your inner guidance, or overall feeling disconnected, embodiment is a powerful tool for personal transformation. Please have a quiet and private space to practice. You'll need a place to lay down like a bed, couch, or a yoga mat on the floor. We use breath, sound and light movement in order to explore and release. You may want to let housemates know of potential noise. Sessions are conducted virtually using Zoom.
